Senior Product Owner will report to the manager of the PO team

 

JOB OVERVIEW

Be part of a fast-growing team of Product Owners to collaborate on a range of product development teams to build several C2C products.

Job requirement

Requirement and development

  • Collaborate closely with the Japan team to understand the problems.
  • Analyze requirements and create documents from high-level requirements including aspects such as Business logic, User flow, User Interaction, Design, QA notes…
  • Work with the UIUX team to review UIUX to make sure the UIUX matches the requirements.
  • Participate in discussions with developers to explore technical solutions, provide updates to product management, and consolidate information into Jira tickets, including Functional Requirements and Developer Notes.
  • Conducting Scrum activities such as Daily Standup, Backlog Grooming, Sprint Planning, and Sprint Review.
  • Quality assurance before delivering features.
  • Manage the product backlog and prioritize items based on progress requirements.
  • Developing the product in a data-driven manner.
  • Ensure transparent and timely communication with the Japan team.
  • Work with the Horizontal team to build the core products for the company.

Project management

  • Coordinate with department managers to allocate resources according to the schedule, and budget.
  • Monitor the progress of the product at each stage and have a backup plan to ensure it always aligns with the product's goals.

Technical support

  • Support training/demonstration of new features with the Technical Support team.
  • Participate in support as part of the service-level agreement from the development side, ensuring prompt and effective incident resolution.

 

CANDIDATE MUST HAVE

  • High energy and a desire to work in a results-oriented, fast-growth company that never lost its start-up spirit.
  • Bachelor’s degree or above in BA or software management-related or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Good understanding of product design and growth marketing, hands-on experience in data analytics.
  • 5+ years of experience in the field of software, eCommerce, C2C, Martech or  Data products.
  • Background about server, mobile applications (Android and iOS), web applications.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Conflict resolution skills are required.
  • Languages:
    • Fluent in English;
    • Japanese proficiency for chat communication and document comprehension
  • Proven achievements in product management are preferred.
